"i can do it myself mom!"

During snack time one weekend, I was in my room folding clothes and heard someone getting into something. I came out to Emma helping herself to more crackers that she had gotten from the counter by bringing in her chair!!

Sam's Graduation

The girls, dad, and ACE (Aunt Carrie Eilers) went to cousin Sam's graduation party while mom was having a girl's night previously planned.

Fun Facts:

1. We are at the point where we will only read "Dora" books, which really mean "paper books that mom puts up high so we can't rip em" books!! They do prefer Dora though!!

2. We freeze whenever the Cornhusker State Games commercial is on and dance to the theme song! Not sure why it fascinates them so much, but it really does!!

3. Our dancing skills have upgraded to break dancing type moves! Again, who knows where they got that!! (Side note: as I type this, I hear on the monitor that they have changed the CD playing in their room to the radio, so I go up to get them down from the dresser, or so I thought, but I find them dancing, and I mean dancing, to Beastie Boys!! "Lullabies are for babies mom!!")

4. Seasame Street is known as "Elmo" in our house!

5. We our pros (or close anyway) at drinking out of real cups!!

6. Ella knows all the parts to her body, and Emma knows where everything goes!!

7. Any kind of meat is called "hotdogs!!"

8. And any black truck is "daddy"!!

9. We mimic everything (dance moves, song mellodies, words, etc)!! (We're getting too big!)

10. We still love Dora, Elmo, dancing, playing with our babies and dishes, and brushing our teeth!!

Naughty Emma

Emma had to wash the wall after coloring on it right in front of me! "No, no mommy!"= mean mommy I think! I hear that often after I tell them "no, no!" The joys of motherhood!!

Nail Painting First

The girls got all dolled up at daycare today. This is our attempt at getting pics of their nails!! Plus, you get to see Ella's booboo on her head where she broke the window well cover and stopped herself from falling in head first with her head against the brick house! Ouch!!!

Bedtime Books

It takes skill to read upside down!!

"Flat" Seth Project

First pic, Ella is helping out with the "flat" Seth project. Our cousin is doing a project on a city and chose Lincoln so we needed to take him on a tour of the city and send him some info and pics. These are at the Sunken Garden!!

Hide-n-seek

They understood the "hide" part, but not the part where you can't hide in the same spot twice. But to Emma's credit, good spot!!!
