Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Daddy turned 32 yesterday...the girls and I surprised him with a sign "we" made!!! We celebrated by going out to dinner with Aunt Carrie and Uncle Dan!! Happy Birthday Daddy!!

The girls had such a busy weekend...in the last 24 hours...they slept for 2 hours after their baptism (while the rest of us celebrated in their honor!!), then slept 12 hours during the night, took a mid-morning nap this morning (pictured here), and are taking their big afternoon nap now!!! It's hard work being loved by so many!!!

The girls were baptized on Sunday...pictured with their Godparents!! Ella wore a dress made by GG B and Emma wore a dress made by Great Aunt Joyce!!! G.G. B also made the hats and bought the girls their cute socks and shoes!! Thank you both for your hard work in making these cherished items!!!

Daycare Friends

Here we are at daycare...dressed like Grandpa Goob!!! Believe it or not...there are 3 girls missing too, who are at school!! First is Kylee, then Madison, then cousin Jayden holding us, cousin Maddy, and Derek!! Missing from the photo is cousin Abby, Emery, and Lexi!!

Some random pics...Both girls, Emma a bit more so (both hand eating pics are of her), love to eat their hands! You'll have to take my word for it...it's very cute!! The 3rdpic is after a feeding....they love to touch heads during double feeding times! Last two are of big girl Ella!

Almost walkin...

Ok, not really, but look how big and strong we are!!! Emma is in pink pants and Ella in the green. Even big sister had to check it out!! Our 4 month Dr appt. yielded these results...Ella, 12 lbs. 12 oz and 24 in. She is in the 25-50% on everything. Emma, 12 lbs. 9 oz and 24.5 in. She is also in the 25-50% for weight, but is in the 50-75% for height. Obviously she doesn't take after her mother!!

4 months and 1st Mother's Day!

My first Mom's day was a great one (as it was also their 4 month b-day!)...the girls and daddy made it very special. We started the day off in York for a Mother's Day breakfast with Grandma Mary, of which Grandpa Goob prepared!! Then we came back to Lincoln and headed off to the zoo (as dad put it, "the girls wanna take you to the zoo!!), then we came home to meet up with a friend of mom's from high school, Courtney, who now lives in LA. Then Grandma Julie came into town and over for dinner. Daddy made the entire meal by himself!! He did an excellent job! The "girls" even got me dessert!!

Lazy mornings...

Like mother, like daughters...here we are being lazy in bed one Friday morning before going to work and daycare. I brought the girls in bed with me after feeding them early in the morning. We watched a little TV (they are both looking up at the TV in the first pic) and took a little snooze!! They love blankets...they will for sure have a favorite cuddly in the form of a blanket at some point!! Right now, they don't have a preference, but love having a blanket up to their face!!

First two pics are of Emma playing with Ella's bunny (actually Dad playing with Emma using Ella's bunny blanket!!) HAHA, funny dad!! You just wait!! Next one is Ella showing how big she is!! Trust me, they are strong little ladies! Next is them both playing on daddy...Emma on the right wasn't having as much fun as Ella was though!! (excuse the inappropriate angle of dad!!)

Visit to Sioux City

We finally made it to Sioux City to visit the grandparents. First pic is of the girls ready to leave on our first major car trip. They did really well, only making some noise once we got into town. Next is Ella in the bouncy at Grandma and Grandpa Moore's. Then Emma looking into the mirror with Grandpa Dan. Then Ella first in the play saucer at Grandpa and Grandma B's. It was a quick trip for us, but we had fun!!
