The girls are ready for bed time!

Emma couldn't wait till bed time...she sacked out in the middle of the living room floor...kinda like daddy!!

Cheerleaders!!

No frilly dresses here, look at their mother (I was never a cheerleader)!! Go Chiefs!! They can use all the help they can get!!

Another upgrade!!

We finally talked dad into letting us take a bath together with our toys!!

"What are we up to" you ask?

We like to play on the floor and get everyone of our toys out of our basket, every time!!

We like to get up on all fours and tease everyone that we will crawl!! As Ella demonstrates here!!

We like to get into things, even if mom and dad say not to! As Emma demonstrates here!

We know our name when we are being called to!

We like to play, smile, and laugh!! And be just down right adorable!!

8 Months Old

We are 8 months today! We like to roll, sit, scoot, get up on all fours, chew on things, play with our feet (actually putting them into our mouth), and eat big girl foods. Most importantly, we are working REALLY hard at growing some teeth. None yet, but we're close, hopefully!! Ella is approx. 18.5 lbs and Emma was 19 lbs. That doesn't seem right to us since Ella seems a bit fuller than Em, but Em is a bit longer too, so who knows!

Too many kids...

The Eilers' family babysat the Eilers' family on Wednesday night...I took them to the park by our house and got asked by a lady, "Those aren't all your kids, are they?"

First Wedding!

Wow, how life comes full circle...the girls attended their first wedding last weekend. We are definitely to the stage where they are more active, so sitting through church wasn't as easy as it's been!! The reception was held at the same location Travis and I had our reception..so for us to bring our TWO kids there, a little more than 2 years later, kinda surreal!! They had a blast and had plenty of attention. While Miss Em was taken her snooze, Ella (who already took her snooze) danced with mom and dad.

New Friend

The girls met Abby Rector, aka Peanut, on Monday evening. Light pink is Ella with Abby playing peek-a-boo, and then Emma with Abby who got frightened by Emma saying "Boo!!"

1st Husker Game/Goober Days

As you can see, I did a good job taking pics for the Husker game, not so much for actual Goober Day's yesterday. Grandma Mary had swings for the girls in Grandpa's garage. They loved em! Last pic is the sole pic from Goober Days...the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Bean with the girls!!
