Emma, do you want to cuddle??

Ella, where are you??

I was making dinner and dad was working late, and I come into the living room to find Emma by herself. I called for Ella and heard giggling, but couldn't find her...tricky little lady!!

KC trip

The girls' first of many trips to KC!! It's hard to not have fun, but we all were pretty wiped after this trip!! The girls had LOTS of attention from the cousins, and even got to play with them while mom and dad went to the Chiefs game!

Big girls!!

Ella is pulling herself up to a standing position, Emma still needs some help, but does great once she's up there!! And we are finally in our big girls car seats!!

What's happening at our house??

First pic, Emma giving Ella kisses (she does this all the time!!) Sometimes Ella likes it, sometimes she hates it!! Next, they are playing in the bathroom, which they love to do if you are in there or not. Next, the both of them playing with their box!! Then of course, playing with the tv!! And last, just plain getting into trouble!! No one cried though, just laughing and screaming!! And that's Emma who's got Ella pinned!!

We are learning to get along!!

Chiefs fans visited the Bronco fan for a game!! We're lovers, not fighters, but Chiefs through and through!! The whole family went to visit Josh and Katie Rector for chili and football!

9 months old

We are 9 months and lovin it!! Ella-18 lbs., 27 in., 25-50%. Emma-17 lbs. 3 oz., 271/2in., 25-50%. Emma (pictured in orange) likes to give her sister kisses on her head, scream like you wouldn't believe (which we are having to ignore as she is starting to throw little tantrums), and does not like chunks in her food (like her mother). Ella is very independent, however, will follow her sister everywhere, and likes to crawl all over you and sit on her knees. Our goal in the next 3 months is to increase solids, decrease bottles, take away the binks, grow teeth and most importantly hair!!

Independence

It saddens me that they are such big girls, but it marvels me at the same time. This is the best hard job in the world!!

We are all over the place!!

Wow, what a difference a week can be...the girls are all over the place!! We began to crawl overnight last weekend, and now, they go everywhere. It changes every routine we've had thus far!! First pic, Emma crawling over dad (favorite thing to do by the way, we have officially become jungle-gyms!), next is Ella getting into Josie's water dish as I was cooking (if you look real close you can see her sitting in a pool of water!!), and last is the both of them exploring the house, following mom where ever she goes. They do a good job, but sometimes get a little frustrated when I move to fast or stay in a room for only a few minutes and they have to turn right back around!! It's too cute, it's like follow the leader, and right now, Emma is the leader!!

Omaha Zoo Trip

The girls and I, along with our friend Katie, met up with the KC cousins at the Omaha zoo last weekend. We had great weather hanging out with everyone while dad worked.

Teething...

No teeth, but still working hard at em!! They have to have something in their mouths at all times!! Anything works, binks, hands, feet, other people's bodyparts, socks, pants, blankets, toys, carpet, carseat, edge of anything, shoes, washclothes, etc. Teething is a time you feel the affects of twins...when one is awake and needs you, the other sleeps, then you finally get that one down, it's the other one's turn!! It's not too bad though, they are still good kiddos, even when they are "fussy."

Turning 30!

Two kids by 30...checked that off the list!

30th Birthday Party!!

Mom's 30th Birthday party was Saturday, as well as a Husker party! Dad surprised mom with a planned, booked, paid for trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in December! Even talked to my boss and lined up the grandparents to watch the girls!! I'm still a little in shock!
