Fun Fact #3

Each night, during our bed time routine, after we get done reading our books, we put one in their bed, and as we turn around to get the other, the game has begun!! Both girls, mainly Emma, will hide behind the rocker and you have to "find" her to put her to bed!! Where do they come up with this stuff!!

Can't say we didn't try!!

The Lincoln Area Families with Multiples club had a night out at the ballpark. We lasted in our seats as long as their hot dogs lasted!! Game started at 7:00, we were back in the truck at 8:00!!

Some favorites...

These are some of my favorite pics of late...Ella doing her "silly" face while eating, does it nightly!

A GREAT one of Aunt Carrie and Emma, priceless if you ask me!

It has begun, mark it in your calendars...this week, the girls figured out a way to ride on Uncle Dan's chair!

Congrats Grandpa!

The Eiler's girls made a trip to York to help Grandpa Goob celebrate 35 years at NPPD! Did I mention there was peanut butter chocolate cake??

18 Months

About a week ago, the girls and I headed back to Sioux City to get their 18 month shots done by my step-sister, Mindi, who does photography in Florida. Take a look at her website, which is to the right on our blog page under We've Got Friends, Images by Mindi. She did a wonderful job and I was telling Travis how easy this photo shoot was compared to our last indoor shoot, which left us in a dead sweat, and the girls fearful of the studio!! It was a breeze and she captured them in their play, which is the way to go!! Enjoy!!

While I'm at it, I'll give a quick update....the girls weigh around 23 lbs. and 22 lbs. with Ella being the heavier one. Emma is still a half inch taller. They are busy little bees, needing 100% of my supervision, or else I have a fight (and I mean hair pulling, eye gauging fight) or someone goes head first off the couch!! Their dance moves are starting to range a bit more from the bouncing and swaying. Ella loves to walk around with her blanket covering her head, which forces her to crash into everything and anything. Emma is very sporadic in her moves...for example, in a car ride yesterday, she started hitting herself in the head with her foot!! They are slowly getting the potty training thing, and have their moments where they do well, then not so well! Our next goal is to remove the cribs (which was suppose to be tonight, but I chickened out!!)

Fishing and Boating

Mom and dad fished with Grandpa Goob (on a side note, mom won the fish count, 3 to 1), while the girls played with grandma! Then the girls went out for their first boat ride!! They did alright until mom and dad jumped in!!

Camping

Fort Randall, SD with grandma and grandpa!

Happy Birthday Great Grandma!

The fam went to Ames, IA to celebrate GG T's 80th b-day. And wouldn't you know, I never even got a pic of GG T!!

Fun Facts

Fun Fact #1: The girls are very loving to each other most of the time. They will take care of each other by getting a blanket or drink or toy when upset. Or just plain give kisses, which they giggle at!!

Fun Fact #2: We have succumb to the fact that we need the TV for entertaining purposes, just as much as we don't really want to admit that!!

Routine

The girls take after their mother in the fact that we like our routine at our house...here is a pic of the girls and dad's routine when he gets home from work...they help him take off his shoes and disgusting sweaty socks (of which he has the girls bring to mom, at which time I politely decline the offer!!)

You don't HAVE to swim at the pool, do you?

The girls and I met my friend Tessa and her boys at this great little kid pool in Omaha. The picture with me is the most I got them in the water, but don't you dare let the water touch them!! The last pic is what they did, sat around and played with old people who didn't want to get wet either (that's Ella playing peek-a-boo with an older lady behind us)!! We couldn't get a pic with all the kids together since mine were never in the water and hers were never out of the water!!

Child proofing reaches a new level!

Yep, they just keep climbing...now can freely climb on to the couches which leads to the bay window and to reaching things that mom didn't think they could get (aka the suckers that Emma is so pleased to have found!).
