A bit of a scare!

Yesterday, we got a call from daycare saying Emma had fallen and is favoring her left arm. Daycare tried icing it, feeling it a bit to see where it hurts and Em would tense up, pull arm away and cry every time her forearm was touched. Travis and I took her to the doc, painstakingly took x-rays, and while the doc was doing his exam, "popped it" back into place. The poor little darling had dislocated her left arm at the elbow!! The x-rays showed little abnormality, so this seemed to be the answer!

Travis ended up taking Em home yesterday and she took a really good nap (of course, she was worn out!!)! She was struggling a bit and definitely wasn't her normal self last night before, during and a little bit after dinner, but like a drop of a hat, all of a sudden she started using it again like nothing happened! I thought maybe the Tylenol kicked in and it would become a problem later in the night! Nope, woke up this morning normal, spunky Emma!! Crazy!!!

Pre-bath Potty Time

It's routine, and they really pick up on routine. They do it themselves now!! Another little fun fact for you...they race to get on the potty first, so they can steal the other one's potty bowl, which makes her mad!!

Goober Days 09

Celebrating 19 years of Goober Days! The girls learned to "swing" by themselves, took hundreds of rides in the wagon, watched daddy shoot clay, watched a softball game, and ate lots of food!! It was a blast!

Husker Football

We enjoyed the first Husker game at Grandma and Grandpa's in York prior to Goober Days. The girls were quite busy this year and played really hard!! As you can see by the last two picks, the girls are quite friendly and not really shy with other kids!!

State Fair

The whole family got to experience the State Fair for the first and last time probably. With it moving to Grand Island, we don't see ourselves traveling for it, so we made sure to get out there this year as the last year it's in Lincoln! The girls had as much fun people watching as we did. They won a Dora ball (mom's pick) and a baton (dad's pick) during the duck game! You can see which one they liked more!
