First Wedding!

Wow, how life comes full circle...the girls attended their first wedding last weekend. We are definitely to the stage where they are more active, so sitting through church wasn't as easy as it's been!! The reception was held at the same location Travis and I had our reception..so for us to bring our TWO kids there, a little more than 2 years later, kinda surreal!! They had a blast and had plenty of attention. While Miss Em was taken her snooze, Ella (who already took her snooze) danced with mom and dad.

New Friend

The girls met Abby Rector, aka Peanut, on Monday evening. Light pink is Ella with Abby playing peek-a-boo, and then Emma with Abby who got frightened by Emma saying "Boo!!"

1st Husker Game/Goober Days

As you can see, I did a good job taking pics for the Husker game, not so much for actual Goober Day's yesterday. Grandma Mary had swings for the girls in Grandpa's garage. They loved em! Last pic is the sole pic from Goober Days...the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Bean with the girls!!

Another new "toy"!!

We've had these shoes forever, and I received a few comments as to why they weren't wearing shoes (because they are babies and it's summer is my response by the way!!), so I had them wear their crocs from Uncle Eric and Aunt Jenny one day to daycare. This is in the morning after getting dressed. They played with the ones on their feet, as well as the ones on eachothers' feet, while I got ready for work!!

Pella Family Picnic

Travis has worked for Pella for 9 years I believe, and this is his first time he was able to attend the "family" picnic they host for their employees!! We enjoyed a Omaha Royals baseball game from the Stadium club and Travis threw his arm out seeing how fast he could throw in their pitching machine. I think he topped out at 68 mph!!

First time away!

The girls went with Uncle Matt, Grandma and Grandpa Moore to Concordia, KS, in July for a family reunion. Mom and dad couldn't go since they had a wedding to attend. Here's the family photo of our side that were present: G Aunt Peg, G Aunt Mike, G Uncle Jim, GG T, Grandpa, Grandma, G Uncle Scott, Cousins JR and Angie, and Uncle Matt.

When dad's away...

...the girls play!! Dad usually gives the girls baths, but he has been working too much lately, so the girls needed a bath without him. So, mom got creative!! And they loved it!! Check Em out in the first pic, just relaxin!! And then Em again playing with the faucet shower!! She loved that too! That's also a good pic show casing their position of how they both figured out how not to slide around ( I know now...use a towel!!)

How times have changed!

The girls and I made a trip to Sioux City this past weekend to visit some high school friends of mine. The girls played with Kim's daughter, Brooke, and Courtney's son, Talan. We didn't use to have play dates when we'd all get together!! Well, not like this anyway!! We had a good time with everyone and Grandpa and Grandma Moore!

Little Bit a A...

7 months old

Ella is sitting up, weighing approx. 17 lbs. She loves to suck her thumb if mom will let her. Emma is on the verge of getting up on all fours, weighing in at approx. 16lbs. 8oz. She still likes to scream, which is catching on with Ella!! They are drinking water out of their sippy's (Thanks Grandma Mary!!) They like all foods so far except peas, taking after their father!!

The girls had time with Grandma Mary and Grandpa Goob in York this past weekend while mom and dad played golf!!

Little Helpers!!

The girls are "helping" mom and dad outside doing yard work! They actually did help a lot being so darn good so we could actually work!! Ella in front.

Aunt Carrie came by to watch the girls last week so Travis and I could go hit some golf balls to prepare for our tournament this past weekend. Here's Aunt Carrie with Ella, naked after they ate their dinner!!

As I was in the kitchen making dinner and dad was showering, I came back to find them "playing" with Ella eating Emma's face. Of course, by the time I got the camera out, she was sidetracked!! But here is the positioning!!
