Us girls were allowed on this play date with mom's friends from high school, Gena and Tessa. The boys were busy being boys (playing long, loud, and tough), and us girls were busy being girls (talking and oohing over babies)!! I didn't catch one of the boy baby, Camden, who had two fine ladies sleeping in his crib!!! His dad must be proud!!! We had a blast, thanks for having us Tessa and looking forward to the next one in Fremont!!!
Josie did great! She was herself in no time and after the bandage came off, she walked normal again. We go in another week to have her 10 stitches removed, and that's that!
Josie is having surgery tomorrow to have what the vet calls a fatty tumor on her leg removed. They don't think it's cancerous, but feel it needs removed to prevent other problems. While she is under, she will have her teeth cleaned and other grooming items done. I'm a little worried, but hopefully for nothing!!
We found new toys...our shirts!!! Dad doesn't like when we show our tummy's!! Ella in orange, Emma in green, on opposite sides of the couch, at the same time!!
On dad's 1st Father's Day, "we" let him sleep in, made him breakfast, and sent him on a hunt for his gift!! After 10 clues and running in/out, up/down throughout the house, he found his Wii!! I did capture the hunt on video, but here are a few pics of us playing afterwards!! The girls were very good so we could play!!! They love to watch you do anything about!!! Later, "we" also made him dinner!! Happy Father's Day Daddy!!!
Emma likes to be where the action is....this day, I was making dad's favorite dessert for Father's Day, and Emma (and of course Josie) wanted to help!!! Ella is playing on the floor in the living room...talking up a storm to her toys!!!
While everyone else in the house, and I mean everyone, is sleeping through the severe weather, mom is guarding the house (and has time to do some posting)!! These pics were taken as I typed other posts tonight!! You have to look close on the couch with dad to see the bit of purple blanket to find Ella!!! Needless to say, dad put her to sleep seconds before falling asleep himself!! And Josie, she woke up as I took the picture of her in her chair!! Our warnings have lifted, so I guess it's time to move the family upstairs to our beds!! Good night!!
They are 5 months old today...stats...well, I did the ol' weigh myself, then step back on the scale holding each one, very trusty and accurate method....that yielded this: Ella is 14 lbs and Emma is 13.5 lbs. It's a rough estimate!!! They are MUCH more aware of each other and like to lay on the floor, chattering with each other, to themselves, or whoever will listen!! Emma is also a bit of a screamer these days...but it's a cute scream, fake like!! She just started this a couple days ago!! Makes us laugh! They like sitting up with help, standing with help of course and anyone talking to them!! They are VERY good girls!!
Ella reaches for toys right away, also reaching for her bottle, etc. 
Emma puts all toys in her mouth, they fall out, then she cries for it to be handed to her again so it can happen all over again!!
Tummy time is no big thing any more. We've had some rolling over even, mostly by Emma. They are getting so good, they now pose for the camera as seen in the final pics!!!

Daddy turned 32 yesterday...the girls and I surprised him with a sign "we" made!!! We celebrated by going out to dinner with Aunt Carrie and Uncle Dan!! Happy Birthday Daddy!!
The girls had such a busy weekend...in the last 24 hours...they slept for 2 hours after their baptism (while the rest of us celebrated in their honor!!), then slept 12 hours during the night, took a mid-morning nap this morning (pictured here), and are taking their big afternoon nap now!!! It's hard work being loved by so many!!!
